How to Make Carrot Pudding? Gajara Ka Halwa| English

Ingredients for Carrot Pudding:

1 kg carrots

1 liter milk

1 teaspoon of cardamom seeds

3/4 cups of water

3 tbsp ghee

2 teaspoon raisins

2 tsp almonds

2 Tablespoons

450 grams of sugar

  • Wash the carrots and grate. Soak the raisins in water for 30 minutes. Threw blancs and nuts.

Boil the boiling water while boiling the carrots. Cook for 5-7 minutes.

  • Add milk. Cook on a low flame for 1 hour stirring occasionally. Add sugar, mix well and cook till sugar dissolves and all the milk has been absorbed.
  • Add ghee and boil for 2-3 minutes. Add a little crushed cardamom and raisins. Mix well.
  • Remove the gajar pudding from heat and arrange in a serving dish. Garnish with almonds and pistachios. Serve cold, hot or room temperature.
