DRY DATES PICKLE

Ingredients-

 

  • 250 grams dry Dates (Khajoor)
  1. 1 teaspoon Red chili pepper (Lal Mirchi)
  2. 5 teaspoons Coriander (Dhania) powder
  3. 5 teaspoons aniseed powder
  4. 2 teaspoons white cumin powder
  5. 3/4 or 1 cup Lemon (Nimbu) juice
  6. Salt (Namak) to taste

Method to make dry dates pickle-

  1. First of all you have to boil the dates until a little tender and then remove the stones and keep them whole.
  2. Now, you have to dry with a clean cloth and mix all the ground ingredients together with a little salt and fill in the dates.
  3. Keep the dates in clean jar and mix a little salt with lemon juice and pour over the dates, taking care that dates must be covered with lemon juice.
  4. Keep aside for 7 days and shake the jar every other day and serve after one week.
